The Pumpkin Patch

We couldn't have asked for a better day to head to the pumpkin patch. It was such a nice morning, with the sun shining bright, what a great way to start the day! This is the third year in a row we have headed to Barten's Pumpkins just outside of New Prague. They have a HUGE selection of pumpkins (over 6000) and are family run. For two weekends in October, they have Family Fun Weekends which consist of several different games for kids to play. Here Mallory is shucking some corn.
After the corn, Mallory decided she wanted to ride the pony. What was so great about this pony ride? There were two ponies and both were being guided down and back on a path, rather than round and round a track. Mallory LOVED this pony ride!
We played and ran around amongst all the pumpkins, and took turns playing the bean bag toss, but it was time to head out for lunch so Mallory picked out her very own pumpkin and headed to car, demanding to carry it all on her own.

It was a quick stop, but so fun! The place was buzzing with excitement. Nothing buy happy families running around and having a good time! Thanks Barten's!!!!!
