Pulling Myself Up and more.....

PULLING MYSELF UP
Mallory has been pulling herself up onto anything she can get her hands on. She started Easter weekend along our couch, and after the first few tries, it was like she had been doing it for 10 years already. She is getting better at putting herself back down slowly, instead of toppling over backwards and hitting the floor hard. We still have a few of those episodes, but that's to be expected. Here she is, doing her new trick along Grandpa's chair, her gate, and the sub woofer for the surround sound!

Here is a video of Mallory pulling herself up along our couch....

BOOKS, BOOKS AND MORE BOOKS
We have been reading more and more to Mallory, she just loves it. She will sit and listen so intently the entire time, and does not get bored. I swear I could read Pat the Bunny eight times in a row and she would totally be okay with that. What a great book! Thanks Susie O!
A co-worker of mine has a 5 year old daughter who just loves to read. She has lots and lots of books, some of which she was donating to the Bloomington Book Em' sale. She let me look through the stack and I was able to find a bunch that would be perfect for Mallory. Here she is, checking out her new stack of books.
BIKE RIDE WITH DADDY
When I was pregnant, Christopher was taking daily bike rides around the trails of Farmington. He is very happy to report he is able to continue his daily rides with the addition of our bike trailer for Mallory. He has taken her out one time so far, and she loved it! She was cooing the whole time, just looking around and taking in all the scenery. True to her baby background, she did fall asleep on the way back to the house. Never the less, Christopher said she had a really fun time!

We are going to be hitting garage sales all weekend, looking for good deals on toys and outdoor stuff for Mallory. She is growing like crazy and we are having so much fun trying to keep up with her! She will be getting her 9 months pictures taken soon, so be sure to check back for an update on those!

EASTER DRESS
Lastly, I wanted to share a few pictures with everyone of Mallory wearing a dress for the first time. Here she is, all beautiful for Easter Sunday...
