We decided this year to have a friends birthday party for Mallory. A Tinkerbell Birthday Party at her request. It was the best decision we ever made. Mallory had a BLAST and I think all of the kids that were in attendance had fun too! We had a total of eight kids, nine including Mallory. It was the perfect party and I wouldn't change a thing. We started the party with the kids playing on Mallory's play set and running around the back yard. After a little while we had Mallory open her presents. She was overwhelmed with them all. There were several times we had to remind her to finish opening the present she was currently working on before she started a new one. All of her friends and family were very generous. She received all kinds of new toys and a lot of her current favorite "Squinkies".After presents we went inside (because we were all melting) to have cupcakes and ice cream! The kids enjoyed white and chocolate cupcakes with girlie sprinkles from the Farmington Bakery and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was a great chance for the kids to hang out for a little bit in the air conditioned house and play with some of the new toys they gave Mallory. Christopher also put together the awesome new doll house Mallory got from Grandma Dee.
After the treats, the kids got their party favors which were light up flying discs. I guess it was a good thing I waited to the end of the party to give out the favors of flying discs, because they are more like CRAZY flying discs.
Mallory has been playing with each of her new toys all day long every day since her party. She is in HEAVEN. She is also very fond of her new Bronco Rider Christopher and I got her for her play set. We had such a magical day. It was an omen of some type since her Tinkerbell balloon she had for her party said "Have a Magical Day!
