We are very pleased with what Wise had to offer so back we went. Last year Mallory started in Mini Dolphin 1 and halfway through they recommended she repeat the class. So, our back to back sessions last year included two rounds at MD1. We didn't mind, it was her first real swimming lesson, she was only three years old at the time, so it didn't seem to surprising to us she might have to try a little harder and learn a little longer. At the end of the second MD1 session, they passed her to Mini Dolphin 2. When we called around Christmastime to register Mallory for her MD2 lessons, Wise was VERY happy to hear from us and excited to have Mallory back as a student!
For the past six weeks Mallory has been swimming her heart out and trying very, very hard week after week. She is genuinely giving it her all and is also enjoying her lessons. No tears, no fighting it, just happiness. It's absolutely wonderful to see her thriving in the pool, it is in her DNA after all. In MD2 they are required to swim 10 feet on their own before they will be recommended for Mini Dolphin 3. Mallory has had NO trouble learning, remembering and executing the necessary skills to pass. Here is a compilation video so you can see for yourself!
As you can see there is no hesitation on her part and the fact that she can dive for rings just blows me away. We are so proud!
Once again we have registered Mallory for back to back lessons, but this time she will be in two separate classes rather than having to repeat the same one. After the above video lesson was completed, the passed her to MD3! HOORAY!
