A few firsts

Mallory has never been a fan of her bath. Lately, she has been tolerating it much better than before, but still, it was a rush to get her in and out, due to the fact she had about a two minute threshold before the tears started rolling, oh and the screaming didn’t help.

I was chatting with a few people at work and they were advising me since she is sitting up so well now, to try a new bath seat. I had received one of the Safety First seats from a different co-worker of mine, so since we already had one, we gave it a try.

VOILA! So, here is Mallory is her new bath seat, sitting up in the water for the FIRST time. She just loved it, splashing around and playing with her police rubber ducky. Bath time has become so much more fun, for both of us.

Another one of her “FIRST” occurred last night at Cub Foods. She sat up in the cart for the entire ride. Although she was very interested in everything around her, we didn’t get one peep out of her. Not one cry, whine, squeal or otherwise. She was super content to be along for the ride, soaking up every inch of the store along the way. We also got to see Great Aunt Nicki while we were there; she was working and checked us out. YEAH!


Lastly, a few weeks ago, we went to Old Country Buffet for lunch, where Mallory got to sit up in a restaurant high chair for the FIRST time. She really likes the different view she gets now, and has plenty of admirers with her beautiful smile.

How special are all of these moments! Mallory is such an adventurous one, she just jumps right into everything we toss at her. She is growing up so fast, but is still our little angel, peanut, pumpkin; oh she has so many nick names. Stay tuned for many more firsts to come!!!
