Once inside the orchard, we checked out the annual Scarecrow Festival. There were several scarecrows that had been exposed badly to the elements, losing their arms, feet and even their heads, but even so, there were several that were still alive. Here are a few of our favorites...

Mallory and mommy got to take a train ride too. Mallory waved the whole way around, even if no one was looking.
Mallory and daddy conquered the rope maze (mommy beat them out).
While waiting a short time for the pumpkin patch express, we were able to play in and drive a wooden truck.

Mallory has a great time taking the pumpkin patch express around the orchard and taking in all the sights. Even though we didn’t get off at the pumpkin patch, we still had fun on the ride. Look at those rosy cheeks and nose!
We had such a great time together as a family, I was sad it had to end. No one seemed to mind the cold, we were having so much fun. The best part was the General Store, in which we picked up some homemade Emma Krumbees apple pie. Hmm Mmm GOOD!
