Christopher likes to use the snow blower, so he is usually the one working on the ends of the neighborhood driveways after the plow goes through and ruins all the hard work you just did. Our wonderful neighbors brought over a thank you for that snow removal the other day. It was so nice to receive something so thoughtful. Included in the thank you was a Barnes and Noble gift card and a toy cookie baking set for Mallory.
I had no idea how seriously she would take this cookie baking, but she is having a lot of fun with her new toy, while being serious about baking. HA!
Two years ago for Christmas, Christopher and I got Mallory Elmo's Restaurant. You can refresh your memory about it here. I wasn't aware that this particular Restaurant could be used for said cookie baking as well, but it can and it's being used! Here is a little run down of how Mallory "bakes her cookies".
1. Remove the dough from the tube.
2. Slice off said cookies and place them on the cookie sheet.
3. Take the cookies and put them in the oven. (In this case, the cookie sheet does not fit in the oven, so she puts them under the oven) Don't forget your hot pad!
4. Wait for them to bake, when the timer dings, take out the cookies. Again, don't forget your hot pad!
5. Serve the cookies with your spatula!
