ACE Hardware

Our neighbor across the street is the manager of Pellicci ACE Hardware  in Farmington.  The store recently moved to a new, bigger location on Highway 3 and because of that move, they decided to hold a grand opening.  Since we LOVE our neighbor Stu, we decided to go and officially check out the store and show our support.  I say officially because we've popped in a few times already for a few things we needed around the house but the store was still half in the old location and half in the new.  This was our chance to have a little free fun and show Stu how much we enjoy having him as our neighbor by being a part of his day.  

The store was grilling hot dogs, pouring pop and handing out DQ Dilly Bars for desert.  On top of the good eats they had a bounce house and basketball game, Farmington Fire stopped by and the Alpacas at Devenshire Farms made an appearance.  

Mallory checked out the Alpacas first, popped her head in the fire truck and then squeezed in a substantial amount of bouncing before refusing to eat her hot dog.  Yep, she refused loudly in the middle of the store.  It was okay tho, once she saw Stu, she was happy again.  Probably because he gave her a bag of popcorn! 

  
 
   

 

We had a good time, even if it was a short stop on our way out of town.  It was a good thing we went right away in the morning because by the afternoon it was pouring rain into the night with no mercy.
