Johnnies Football

Yesterday was Mallory's first college football game! My friend Jessie, her husband Eric are both alumni of Collegeville and Jessie's sister Jenna currently attends St.Ben's. We have been talking for a few years now about how we all need to go to a Johnnie's football game, as they are pretty good in division III. It was such a beautiful day, and despite the loss to Concordia College Moorhead, we all had a GREAT time!

After the game we got to see Jenna's dorm room and meet some of her new college friends, it was a lot of fun and kind of like taking a trip down memory lane. It's hard to believe we all once lived like that, in such a small space, with another person. We all agreed we could never do it again! It was very surreal sitting in there, thinking about how one day Mallory will hopefully be doing the same thing Jenna is currently experiencing. Just an all around great day!

We went to dinner at Granite City afterwards and very much enjoyed an evening out and away from home. As usual Mallory was a good little girl, just hanging out with us old folks and absorbing everything she sees and everything we do. Once we got back home, Mallory took her evening feeding and then it was off to bed, for 7.5 hours. We are so fortunate she sleeps so well for us!!!!
