Hollidazzle

Last night we went to the Target Holidazzle for the first time as a family. The weather was great, and despite having a little parking trouble (next year we are back to taking the train), it was fun. I was disappointed at first because Mallory was sleeping, and just about missed the while thing. She did wake up for a little while and was very mesmerized by all the lights and music. She really enjoyed the choir float because it was up high and she could see each and everyone of the singers. As always, she was the perfect baby, even though she was hungry!
.

We also had a big week. Not only did we go to the Holidazzle yesterday, we had a play date in the morning. Jules came over and stayed with us for a few hours while her mom had to take care of a few personal things. Jules is three months older than Mallory and lives just a little over a 1/2 mile away from us. Marisa (Jules's Mom) and I have known each other since we were in grade school. We had such a fun morning and Mallory did some entertaining in her crib!
.
On Wednesday we tried Mallory's Exersaucer! She enjoys it very much, and just goes to town playing with each of the attached toys. I told Christopher, it's like she's building a house. We call it her spaceship and she absolutely loves it! Just today she figured out how to spin herself all the way around, so she can get to the toy of choice for the moment.
.

Other than that, we are just trying to get ready for Christmas. Mallory is at such a great stage, discovering new things each day (like her feet) and growing so fast. Rebecca (daycare) said she even got a laugh out of her on Friday. We have yet to hear that trick, so it's something we are looking forward to each day.
